Ms. Bales joined FPMI as Director of Contracts in November 2006. She has more than 20 years experience in acquisition & contracts management, subcontract management, cost & pricing, proposal management and performance risk assessment/mitigation. Ms. Bales’ primary acquisition and contracts management experience lies in the aerospace and defense arena supporting NASA and the US Army, US Air Force, and US Navy. Prior to joining FPMI, Ms. Bales served in progressively more responsible roles at both large and small firms, including SAIC, Ford Motor Company’s Aerospace Division (now Lockheed-Martin), and CSC. Ms. Bales also assisted in the establishment of several small businesses, particularly 8(a) firms, in the Huntsville, Alabama area. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Athens State University, and has completed the Contracts Management Certification at the University of Alabama.
